You mean there's no long-term contract?

For most everyone, no. Unless you plan to have more than 500 students enrolled, you just pay as you go, month to month. If your needs change, just upgrade or downgrade your plan with a couple clicks and no penalties. You can also cancel at any time and you'll never be charged again. Naturally, you're responsible for charges already incurred, as we don't offer partial term refunds.

Think about it: with no long-term contract and the ability to export your data at any time, you can't make a mistake and you'll never feel "locked in" because of some "bad" decision. Nice!

How does your cost compare to other systems with the same features?

Extremely well. It is not uncommon for us to be more than 30% less. Not to mention the fact that most of our competitors don't even offer plans for smaller organizations.

What do "users”, "storage space”, and "groups" mean exactly?

Our plans are defined in terms of the number of active users you can have in the system at any given time, the total number of megabytes (MB) of storage that you can have in your account, and the total number of user groups you can create. Active users are ones that can log into their accounts and launch courses. Storage is used each time courseware or digital resources are uploaded into the system. User groups are used for permissions and auto-enrollments.

Approximately how many courses will I be able to upload with each plan?

Depending on the file type of your courseware, anywhere from 10 to 100 courses. For instance, an average hour of text based courseware without audio, but with images and some animation/interaction, is about 5MB (250MB plan: 50 courses; 500MB plans: 100 courses). An average hour of slide-based courseware with audio, images, and some animation and interaction is roughly 15MB (250MB plan: 17 courses; 500MB plans: 33 courses). An average hour of extremely interactive courseware with audio and lots of animation/streaming video is about 25MB (250MB plan: 10 courses, 500MB plans: 20 courses).
